NASA's Sky Tran PRT System
This project uses Unimodal's Skytran concept in a joint partnership with NASA. This high-speed suspended car PRT system is currently being researched and developed at the NASA Ames research center.

2011 Update on Masdar City Pod Cars - The Masdar City PRT System is now fully operational, since November 2010. The Masdar system is an underground PRT network in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. The entire city is an experiment in sustainable living. Masdar City's pod cars are manufactured in the Netherlands for the Dutch PRT company 2GetThere.

THE TOYOTA P.O.D. CAR
The Toyota "POD" car was a concept car created in collaboration with Sony - POD is an acronym for Personalization On Demand. This concept vehicle was shown in 2001 at the Tokyo Motor Show and was never put into commercial production. Toyota's POD car was designed with artificial intelligence technologies capable of performing basic activities like creating shopping lists and playing music, as well as the ability to detect and respond to the emotions of the driver and express it's own feelings. The Toyota Pod car has been featured in the Gran Turismo Concept game.
